We are driven by these values both in business and in life:
It's important to improve oneself throughout one's whole life and it should happen in an environment that grants equal chances
Successful cooperation starts with an honest conversation
Speaker's authenticity is the basis for audience's trust
When in 2012 nobody told me that I should have been born with presentation skills, I started developing myself in this topic and that’s probably why I’m teaching others now. And when many trainers around me said that on stage you should behave in some certain way, I didn’t follow any of their advice and always strived for being myself in front of the audience. I now teach this approach based on honest conversations with my trainees. I patiently listen to who the trained person is and I adjust my methods for them instead of ordering them to follow instructions that would destroy their natural selves.
Some people assume that public speaking is some supernatural skill. That either you have it or you don’t. I have always believed that it is a skill like any other – one you can acquire and one you can develop. I have also always believed that the greatest advantage of a speaker is their ability to remain natural on stage. That you cannot pretend in the spotlight. And what prevents us from being natural is stress and once you learn how to manage it, everything changes. I was happy to join Spice Speakers Bureau in 2018 as a Partner, because it is an honest company. Honest in the sense that we do not give away universal, one-size-fits-all solutions and tricks. We work with everyone – experienced speakers as well as beginners – and we match the merits and working style to the individual needs of our Clients.
